As many pelvic floor dysfunction (PFD) triggers revolve around the pelvic floor muscle, it is critical to ensure that this muscle remains healthy to prevent bladder, bowel and sexual issues, pelvic pain and pelvic organ prolapse. PFD is also correlated with mental stress and depression.
